Abstract To explore the influence of path deflection on crack propagation, a planning algorithm is presented to calculate growth length. The fatigue life metal matrix composites (MMCs) estimated based an improved Paris formula. Considering different expansion coefficient materials, unequal shrinkage will lead residual stress when composite molded and cooled. model by modified ratio stress. Dijkstra introduced avoid cracks passing through strengthening base characteristics steps. This can be extended predict length for other similarly-structured materials. shortest simulated using algorithm, calculated model. And caused temperature change considered improve in material. well curve composites. By analyzing composites, it found that there certain regularity new prediction also reflect this regularity.
